Biography

Hannah Pancho is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), International Behavior Analyst (IBA), Registered Nurse, and Licensed Professional Teacher with over 15 years of experience in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her career has focused on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through evidence-based interventions, person-centered practices, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

She began her career as a Special Education Teacher, gaining extensive experience supporting children and young adults with diverse learning and behavioral needs in inclusive, self-contained, and individualized settings. She later served as Head of the Special Education Department at H.O.M.E. Therapy Center in the Philippines, supervising educational programs and supporting learners with a wide range of developmental and behavioral needs.

Driven by her passion for understanding behavior and improving outcomes for individuals with disabilities, Hannah transitioned into Applied Behavior Analysis. Since then, she has worked in various clinical and educational settings across the UAE as a Behavior Therapist, Lead Therapist, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She currently works as a BCBA at Weyak Center for Independent Living of People of Determination.

Throughout her career, Hannah has worked with individuals from early childhood through adulthood, up to age 59. Her expertise includes conducting behavioral assessments, developing individualized behavior intervention plans, designing skill acquisition programs, supervising and mentoring staff, training caregivers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, evidence-based services.

Since becoming a BCBA, she has taken on clinical leadership and supervisory roles. At the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Special Education (New England Center for Children, Abu Dhabi), she supervised teachers and therapists and guided the implementation of the behavior support program while working closely with educators, therapists, and families. In her current role at Weyak, she provides clinical oversight, mentors staff, supports program development, and promotes best practices that enhance the independence and quality of life of People of Determination.

In addition to her clinical work, Hannah has contributed through teaching, professional presentations, and research. She has taught university-level Special Education courses on behavior management and intervention strategies and presented her research at international conferences in Thailand and Malaysia.
